Feature Launch: Custom Asset Requests

Request bespoke 3D assets directly in the Bifrost platform and track every request from submission to delivered asset.

Submitting an asset request and tracking it in the new Custom Assets tab

Domain-specific perception needs domain-specific assets. Bifrost ships with 1000+ vessels, vehicles, and objects, but every team eventually hits a target that isn't in any stock library - a specific hull, a regional vessel class, a piece of equipment unique to your operating domain.

Until now, getting one built meant back-and-forth outside the platform: describe the asset, share references, wait, follow up. That worked, but it wasn't visible or trackable.

Custom Asset Requests fixes that. Request new 3D assets directly in the platform, and follow every request from submission to render-ready asset.

What's New

  • Request custom assets in the platform with the new asset request form
  • Attach reference images and videos alongside your written specs - the more you share, the closer the first pass
  • New Custom Assets tab: check the status of ongoing requests and browse every completed custom asset in one place

From request to render-ready

Fill in the asset request form with everything you know about the target: dimensions, materials, distinguishing features, and any imagery you have. Our 3D team builds the asset to your spec.

Once it's delivered, the asset appears in your Custom Assets tab and works like any other asset in your library - drop it into worlds, place it in scenarios, and render it across weather, lighting, and sensor configurations from your notebook.

One place for everything custom

The Custom Assets tab is now the home for your bespoke library. See what's in progress, what's shipped, and what's available to use - no digging through old threads to check on a request.

Need an asset that doesn't exist yet?

If your target isn't in the library, that's exactly what this pipeline is for. Tell us what you need to detect.
